Title: White Artillery

Its from the last game I had, I game RCW solo but only because I just dont know anyone elce who does it.

Flags interesting, but their historical accuracy is sometimes a bit questionable ;)

Post by: koz10 on 28 July 2011, 11:19:37 PM: I find the guy with the two signal flags extremely interesting - I don't know if it is historically accurate and didn't have anything to go on when I painted mine about a year ago. It's funny to note that I you used the same colors for flags that I did and for each hand!

Transmission of information is a semaphore signalmen using check boxes, the size of tissue which is 30x35 cm color of the fabric of flags depends on the time of the day: the night-time use boxes with light-colored cloth (yellow, white), and in the daytime - the fabric of dark tones (red, black).

Post by: Red Sveta on 29 August 2011, 08:23:19 PM: The gun and crew are of course Coppelstone, the signaler and generals are Musketeer minis, the officer with the binoculars is a Redoubt figure from their Russo-Japanese war. It is a great period to play I don't know why its not more popular.

My apologies for the somewhat belated question, but how to the Redoubt minis compare to Copplestone and Musketeer in terms of size? It's rather difficult to judge from the pictures. I'm thinking of getting a few of their products but I don't want them to look silly beside the others.
