I bought this toy at the swap meet for $1.00. The body is 1:43 scale but obviously the engine and rear wheels are oversized. I couldn't help myself. I loved the way the thing looked, hot rod for Greasers. The only work I had to do on it was cutting of the plastic flames coming out of the headers, patch the holes, and then repaint the car. The unpainted figure is a 28mm Copplestone I put in to show scale.

I like it! A well spent dollar :D

I'm not sure how you would see past the engine to steer but who cares? a superb job!

Ha I realy like it !
I think cutting of the plastic flames coming out of the headers was a mistake because with flames it has more fun .
hmmmm must go to the next swap meet :D

Grimm, I love your work. Your postings have been an inspiration to me as I enter the crazy world of Pulp, Adventure, Atomic Cafe, and Zombies. Thanks so much. Please keep on posting. Richard

Nice. And in the post apocalypse no one cares about seeing the road in front of them. Just run down whatever gets in the way. lol
