Title: Medieval Castle Siege in 15mm/The call for surrender
Post by: War In 15MM on August 03, 2011, 03:25:01 PM
I just completed my 15mm medieval collection.  It is posted as a generic castle siege that hopefully reflects events that could have taken place in France or England during the late 13th and early 14th century.  I've been working on the scratch building of hoardings, market stalls and siege equipment and the painting for the last 6 months.  The table is 5 feet x 7 feet and the castle is 30 inches wide by 35 inches long.  I hope you take a look at www.warin15mm.com/Medieval-.html

Paul, the castle was originally made by Village Green but the production rights were held by Stronghold Miniatures when I bought mine.  Glad you enjoyed the gallery.  This collection was a lot of fun to do, particularly the scratch building of the hoardings.  Richard

That's not normally my genre, but I have to say I could sit and look at your board for ages and still miss all the detail. Great work sir!

Thanks again for the very positive comments.  While I'll probably never absolutely succeed, I try to put in the kind of detail that would be more common in larger scales.  I hope for a moment the viewer will wonder if what he/she is looking at 28mm rather than 15.  Just something to hope for.  I do appreciate that you took the time to have a look and write. Richard
