Do you know if someone released Star Wars steampunk miniatures in 28mm (the large toys are awesome but a bit huge) ?
Any ideas for conversions ?

Also inspired by Sillof.

Not really steampunk, but Warzone Bauhaus plastic ducal militia may be good for stormtrooper conversions.

Ironclad Prussia stormtroopers seem to be perfect too.
Here is what I am looking for :

Woo-woo!

Heh. I think that original thread that was linked, is what started Björn Hurri (the artist behind that speeder) down the path that got him featured on the official star wars blog about a year back:
http://starwarsblog.starwars.com/index.php/2011/02/23/star-wars-steampunk-art-of-bjorn-hurri/
I haven't seen a complete collection of his steampunk star wars stuff anywhere, but here's some of it:

There's a great youtube video for steampunk star wars, really funny for Steam Trek as well.
-
Only picture I've found in my travels of the internet that fits this.
I love the Rocketeer feel of it.
-
Lots of very cool pics.
Thanks for the different sites to look at.
Love the ideas on the many guys and gals of Star Wars. 8)

There's an artist who started the whole Star Wars Steampunk thing a while back with some really far out concept art. He had Chewie as a dog-man in a bowler and a made a walker that was a zeppelin with tentacle legs.
I'll see if I can't find it.
EDIT: Ah, it was Eric Poulton (http://ericpoulton.blogspot.com/search/label/steampunk%20star%20wars).

Turns out the walker wasn't him though. I was able to find it, but am unsure of the origin since the link to the source is dead.

Honestly, has anyone looked at HMSW Gargantua, and not thought, AT-AT?
Not saying it was inspired by, just that I know I can't NOT make the connection.
