What's the best napoleonic skirmish system out there? I'm looking at about 20-25 figures a side, with the occasional mounted figure or cannon.
Thanks in advance,

Send me an e-mail through here. I have published and sell a mighty fine Napoleonic rule set called Green Jackets and Voltigeurs as well as a Scenario Supplement with advanced rules incorporated within the supplement. It has everything you have suggested that you want for figure numbers, cannon and mounted figures. When run at conventions I usually sell it to 85%+ to people playing a game as well as 6 -10 people watching.
Look forward to hearing back from you and then I can give you more details on the game in the e-mail.
Regards,
Hitman

Hi,
I’m not sure if they’re the best, but I’ve read lots of good things about Sharp Practice by Too Fat Lardies.
Again I am not sure how good these sets are, but here are a couples of links to a couple of free Napoleonic Skirmish rulesets.
This set is called Chosen Man and seem to use very similar mechanics to the ACW rule set Brother Against Brother: http://www.oocities.org/oculus1999/rules/cmv1-2.pdf
The website used to have some scenarios available as well both on the site and Yahoo Group. If you’re interested in some scenarios please send me PM.
Another set is called Green Jackets and these may be the same set that appeared in Wagames Illustrated some years ago: http://www.btinternet.com/~r.denning/wargames/greenj.htm
Cheers,
Barry

Hi there, i don't think you can beat Songs of drums and Shakos, from Genesha games, plus they suppliment, which gives army lists for all the minor powers in the wars( main book contains the big 5).
Rules are simple, but complex enough to challenge all gamers.
