I was inspired after perusing the Cthulhu board so I've begun painting some minis for use both in Skirmish style Cthulhu games and warhammer 40k. Here's the first a summoned entity of some sort which I'll be using as a Daemon Prince in the army. I tried to make it appear as though it were being summoned within a circle with the Necronomicon symbol written in blood underneathe:

Nice work. The base really lifts adds something to the model.

The yellow didn't turn out as smooth as on the larger creature. I might wash them again but I think the mottled look actually makes them look pretty good. The chap without eyes is supposed to represent a cultist in a sort of metamorphosis. He is the "changeling" in the 40k rules which basically amounts to being able to possibly redirect a unit firing at his unit onto an enemy unit : ) I'll have more up when I can.

What figure's are they? They look like they'd make good alchemical resurrection failures, a la Charles Dexter Ward.

The larger one is a "Caller in the Darkness" which is a D&D model: http://www.trollandtoad.com/p155065.html
The smaller ones are 3rd/4th edition warhammer Tzeentch Pink Horrors.

Very cool. Love that color.

WIP cult sorcerer. He is slowly becoming that which he summons: http://twitpic.com/69j6od
First test of the robes that I'll have on the other cult members.

Quick post of a Night Gaunt. Little different from the typical dark blue or black:

Will they be Furies in your 40k army?
Love the rest of the models. Shame EE don't sell those metal horrors anymore. That D&D one looks awesome too. Flamer?
