Title: Stryker in 28mm
Post by: Ulu Elsomalien on August 19, 2011, 02:48:00 PM
We all know Company B (http://homepage.mac.com/brentdietrich/companyB_models_moderns.html) made one in 1:56 or 28mm (55$) and Imprint (http://www.imprintmodels.co.uk/Product.aspx?pid=60) too (20£)

Acheson Creation announce his to be released soon, same scale (26$)

Here (http://achesoncreations.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=716&category_id=71&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1)

Let me dream it's the final product shown here....  >:(

But yes, seems too clean, like a 1/72 model, not a casted one.

i don't think that the final product will be that different: maybe a bit more opaque and yellow instead of gray ;)

You get what you pay for.

 ;)

I've got 4 of the Company B ones already - two built, and painted, two more waiting to be done, and the quality is second to none.

Having said that, the Imprint models i've got (T-90, Bradley) are excellent also - very sharp castings, BUT 1:50, not 1:55 like the Company B ones, if you are trying to match scales.

The Acheson one looks interesting, but by the looks of it, completely resin, whereas the Company B ones contains a number of metal parts - i'd be nervous about an all resin kit getting damaged, as the storage rails etc are really fragile.

you only get 1 tire for it? :D ;D :D
Now if He would do a T-62 I'd be happy

And only one hatch for the rear.
