I was playing around this weekend with Wargames Factory Zulu's and Celt's and the end result was my new Escaped Slave Militia. I am not the best painter and wanted to show how they could be made.

Cool idea, what are you going to use them for?

Thanks, I am going to use them for a wargame I put on called "Swamp Fever" which takes place right after 3rd Seminole war. I put the game on at Enfilade 2011 (Olympia, WA) and plan on putting the game on at "Fix Bayonets" at Fort Steliacom, WA later in September.

Nicely done! Glad to see other people taking initiative and trying conversions for overlooked ranges of figures.
I did these a couple of years ago:

Great figbash!
I adore how smart us gamers are... lol

I remember seeing CC's conversions on TMP some time ago, inspired me to collect the Foundry Maroons which are still in the lead Mountain. :-[

Ever since I got them painted a couple of years ago, they've been sitting in a bin - never got played. Seems like I got them painted just in time for all my gaming buddies to decide to move away.
All dressed up with nowhere to go. :(
