I hadn't heard of this company before but a member of the Flame On gaming group brought a pack of gasmasked and German helmeted heads to games night last night:

Two sprues (of 10 heads each) for £3 sounds like a pretty good price and they look a lot better in real life than in the painted picture to be honest. Jimmy is going to use them with GW Guardsmen but I can see them being useful for more "historical" troops...
I was a bit disappointed to find that they are a Sci-Fi miniature company rather than a Weird World War II company, but there are a few other good things on the site.

Decent figures and the head swap thing is great. They have lots more releases planned soon that will tie in with your weird war stuff. :)
I entered their heavy infantry figs in the lead adventure painting contest a couple of weeks back. The prof might be able to link the photo here for you to see them. :)

Ah yes! Of course, I thought they looked vaguely familiar (though I must admit I thought that was because of the West Wind versions....).
There has been an outbreak of "Oooh! They would look good on...[insert troop type here]" on the club forum. Everyone and his dog is thinking about getting some and making a whole army with them!
(To be honest though, I doubt most of them will do anything!)
I'm trying desperately to resist starting a new project with them myself.... :?

Not sure why you'd be disappointed with Pig Iron mate just because they're sci fi... you're doing weird war stuff then 'any port in a storm' springs to mind.
The gasmasked and german heads you refer to are from their new Kolony range.
Had Pig Iron for a while now, the new heads are great for a number of things as already mentioned.
Greatcoat mecha-germans anyone???
;)
