Good old HoTT. Been working on a Hordes inspired game which I call HOOT Hordes of Other Things... lol
Always prefer GW styled elves painted green - the blue always seems wrong to me especially when using them in non GW systems. The Ent Saplings need branches and foliage but that is always an issue I have with tree folk - they always seem to be blighted by Winter. Otherwise great... be good to see some villainous opponents!
-
Nice to hear.
Villainous oppontents will follow :D
-
Nice - looking forward to see how the rest of the army comes along
-
So, a WIP of the Villainous oppontents :D ... but just a small WIP. A standart which will be included in a skeleton horde element.

and a hero element figure. From D&D i guess.

Hope you like it. More coming soon... :)

Great miniatures. I like that Skeleton Banner Bearer a lot!
-
The initial Elf stage of the project looks TERRIFIC...especially the Beast Element. The Living Impaired Guys are EVEN COOLER...the Banner is EXCELLENT & I I LOVE the Spook Hero. Keep up the GOOD WORK!

Thanks folks :)

The second skellie model, the wraith thing is from a boardgame called 'Darkworld' which was an intended rip off of Heroquest! :)
Rather cool stuff guys! Keep the pics coming.
-
Nice stuff!
Don't remember element sizes off the top of my head - but the beast figs could just as well be used as lurkers (bursting out of the ground and undergrowth in bad going). They don't look beastly fast.

Ah, thanks. Bought him as single on ebay and could find a manufacturer. :)

Yeah, nice idea. Although (and Don't remember element sizes off the top of my head too) the beasts have a depth of 60mm and i guess lurkers have less. But i will use them in the way you told me. Thanks for nice idea :)
-
Sadly I can remember the base depths of the top of my head - comes of having 36 armies for HotT I guess. Lurkers are 40mm deep in 25mm.

Funny thing is that the Lads/Thingies look just as OH-SO-COOL here as they do over on Tom's Forum...AND equally WELL DONE!

While the Elves and the Dead look great ( nice work with the cotton wool!) that Tortoise looks Fan-bloody-tastic!

I love the 'ancient' effect that you have created with him.
Very nice job!

Two new bases shooters and a WIP aerial hero!
The shooters are GW bows, bought and painted ca. 5 - 7 years ago!
and the aerial hero "Glomrothial, Lord of the house of eagles"
-
The new Pointy Eared Ones look TERRIFIC...you were already a FINE painter 5-7 years ago.
I really like the base/perch for the Eagle & Rider...the Rider looks like he's surfing. GREAT STUFF...Keep it comin'.
-
Nice paint job! I rally like the Eagle rider; can't wait to see him done. The base is incredible; is that scratch built or purchased somewhere?
-
Thanks for nice comments!
@ Chaos Wolf

Wow, that hero on foot is a fantastic paint job. His shield looks great.

:o :o :o
Stunning!
That is what an Ent should look like.
You have captured it perfectly.
:-* :-* :-*
-
Whoa! Amazing work: really looks like like a young, dangerous Ent, and the bark really looks like a birch tree. And I love the straggly bits of vine/branch hanging everywhere.
Did you use Noch leaves for this?

Chuffin' Nora, I didn't think that GW thing could ever look good. Congrats! The bark and foliage (shrubby hair...?) look excellent.
-
Thanks for nice comments and feedback :D
The leaves are from NOCH - exactly!
The branches are steelwool!
-
Fantastic army, really inspiring! (and fantasy isn't usually my thing).
That ent is stunning! :-*
-
Great looking Ent!
