Title: 123 years ago today.......
Post by: Thunderchicken on 31 August 2011, 01:13:45 PM
......Jack the Ripper murdered his first victim in Whitechapel.

I picked this link up via the BBC News website, it's an excerpt from a police gazette in 1896 naming yet another suspect. Interesting though, especially as the suspect fought in the Franco Prussian War.

123?  Well if I was into numerology....   It'd mean nothing. lol
Creepy that somehow the news remembers this one as the "#1" killing...

That's the first time I've read an attribution of the organ removal as a part of the organ market for med schools.

Takes some of the sinister out of it.

Rather similar to the Murder by Decree (non Ripper students might even say derivative, but I'm pretty certain the conspiracy theory, in many forms, is much older), which I enjoy, but have to agree, Depp and Sir Ian are marvelous!
