Title: Hello from another Newbie

Hello all,

Just a quick not to introduce myself.  Folks usually just call me Al when they are not swearing at me.  Im an old gamer, now retired, looking for a site where I can read about one of my favorite hobbies.  My other hobbies are fishkeeping and chasing my grandkids.  I am particularly interested in simple naval rules from all eras, the Thirty Years War, and 6mm SF/VSF.

As long as everyone can keep straight which Allens go by "Al" and which ones don't, there needn't be much confusion.   ;)

Hi Allen,  Over on TMP I am Allen57 (57 was my age when I joined TMP).  I suppose I could add my age to my name here to avoid confusion but I dont think I will ever confuse myself with the other Allens until I get a bit more senile. :)
