Title: News from the Imagi-Nation of The Sultanate of Ifat.
Post by: kyoteblue on 13 September 2011, 07:45:48 PM
Hello all I'm starting this to introduce my Imagi-Nation , The Sultanate of Ifat, which is my tongue in cheek/comic opera country located some where on the Horn of Africa. It's my setting for Force On Force/Modern FOW and semi role playing.
More history and dirty deeds as they develop.

Never underestimate your 15mm figures.

Small targets, harder to hit (but any hits are probably going to be very messy), and easier for you to infiltrate tall positions. Think tunnel warfare in Vietnam.

The Grand Son, Hunter and his friend Alex had great fun shooting Zombies in Ifat last Sunday.
I found some 15mm Minifig Arabs with rifles who will become the Royal Guards of the Sultanate of Ifat, after I paint them.
I also found some Peter Pig Hardened Militias that we be Merc's .
And Rebelminis is doing 15mm Deep Ones that I want to get for the Haunted Reefs off the coast.

Greetings from your friends in the far east. We hope that you are enjoying the tank...er  tractors that we sent you  recently. Do you need any spare parts? We have a special on large firecracker shells  155mm that can be launched from the tractor's gu--no no  fire cracker shooter. Also a wider track for use in sandy climates ? ( BTW  what type of land does IFAT have ? )

Wung Hung Lo in our aviation Department has  informed me that we will soon have a good supply of meteorological rockets that will enable you to test the  skies  as far away as Bongolesia and places near them . Are you interested ?   Please act soon  as we have several customers who are interested.  We can also provide you with various sized silos  to store these rockets  until needed that can also be adapted for use at sea. When  not in use  they can also be used to store corn.

Finally rumours have reached us  about a new carrier  the "RICHARD M NIXON ". Our  spies .. no .no reporters could not get close enough to see it closely. Can you let us in on your secret - maybe we can trade technologies ??

yours truly  in revolutionary spirit
