Vikotnik.
This is the best Ctulhu contribution in this bonus round. This "Ugly model" really looks slimey, nasty and terrible.
Hats off.
Cheers
B

Viktonik - I agree with Driscoles, this must be the best Cthulhu of the entire round!

Can't agree here. The dripping is nice, but IMO the whole minis is too bright. The blue eyes are also to "nice" IMO. :(

The Prof interpretation of Cthulhu is more to my liking!  :)

But the good thing: We are all entitled to our own opinion and tastes...

I like both interpretations, the profs“ is much more natural (if we can talk in that way here), vikotniks interpretation might be just like from a Tim Burton movie

No problem guys!

As Agis has put it:

The cool thing about this forum in general and this competition is that it is possible to speek freely and discuss the entries without the usual bitching around(Well, except for us Germans.... ).

I simply imagined these beings as glowing in some sort of way and tried to simulate this with maximum contrast and brightness, using unusual colours for these kinds of 'things'. At least, these miniatures will NEVER be forgotten on the gaming table at the end of the session.

Well, I think that the green slimy bunch is absolutely awesome. Particularly the buddy in the top left insert reminds me fondly of the dragon from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". And that shiny slime effect is simply amazing.

Grand.... they're both stunning. Consuming Gloss varnish should get extra points for a great warband name, though    8)  8)

hhmm, dont really like the colours either, BUT they are probably the ones closest to drive me into madness  , and thats what meeting the eldar gods is about. And the paint job is great!

Ummm - dunno, in my case it's the university admin which drives me nuts. They're not that colourful, and are slightly less gooey. Not that well-painted either.

The contrast in styles in this leg is textbook, though - two VERY different interpretations, and both grand.  8)  8)  8)
