Barricade your doors and start practising your head shots as we busy ourselves with a 7TV spinoff - 7ombieTV.
Carl Stoelzel (BooBoo) has kindly allowed us to develop his Creature Feature horror submission into a special Halloween release featuring everyone's favourite brain eaters.
This mini PDF will have stats and rules for Survivors and Zombies and a number of Zed-based scenarios to keep you busy on All Hallows Eve.
Here's a quick preview of the cover, to hopefully whet your appetites.

Well that's rather annoying. I'm still finishing of the casts for my first show and now I need to start thinking about a third? ;)

Busy this week with last minute edits and additions to our upcoming 7ombieTV PDF. Approx 60 pages, this is a standalone product complete with '7TV-lite' rules, although if you have the rulebook you can use the extra stuff in there as well. Find out more here:
http://www.crooked-dice.co.uk/zombie.html
And every order leaving the store currently get a limited edition postcard as well, cunningly meat flavoured to buy you a few seconds when the undead burst in on you.
-
We've posted a second preview - with a sample of some of the pages.

It looks very pretty. I am on the fence about buying (even) more rules sets, but this one is very tempting...
Lovely miniature shots too.

I can only encourage you :) Thanks for looking though.

When will we be able to get our grubby little paws on this?????

Is there any chance that pdf's such as this could eventually be made available as print or maybe even Print on Demand? I know I asked if it will be print when it comes out, but maybe a compendium of bits and pieces could be viable in print format for those of us who like books for their gaming?
-
Bobble - we're just getting the files ready now. Had a very busy weekend driving back and forth to FIASCO, so a little behind.
Leon - we love paper products too. But our wallets are not so keen, as it costs us a fortune upfront :)
We already print on demand for the core rulebook and supplements, so we're not ruling it out completely, but it will likely stay electronic in the short to medium term.
There is a thread on the CD Forum discussing some of this if it helps:

And it's OUT!
http://www.crooked-dice.co.uk/store5.html#7ombietv
In the 1980s 7TV Studios branched out into cheap US horror movies. Relive their late night zombie apocalypses, pitting disparate survivors against relentless hordes of zombies intent on feasting on living flesh.
69 PDF pages of standalone horror wargame adventure. Contains all the 7TV rules you need to get playing, new setting rules, Stars, Co-Stars, Extras, Guest Stars and 4 nail biting episodes. With 9 new event cards, 27 all new scavenge cards and a superb 'build it yourself' cabin in the woods to print and assemble. Available for £9.

Any update on the cards for this smashing bit of 7tv goodness?
Want to order a couple of bits off you but waiting for the cards
-
I took the plunge and bought this yesterday, it looks very promising. Very nicely put together too, a treat to read through.
Of course now I am toying with picking up all of the 7TV PDFs o_o
-
I've seen a review PDF to write my review with. This is greta - written with the usual deft humour and parallel plausibility. Cewl stuff.
-
Bobble - they might be delivered on Friday - but I suspect it more likely early next week by the time we have them into the store. Thanks in advance for the order.
Gary - many thanks!
Cheetor - I can only encourage you ;)

7ombieTV Event & Scavenge Cards set are now in the Crooked Dice webstore.
http://www.crooked-dice.co.uk/store5.html#ztvcards
As seen in the 7ombieTV PDF, there are 36 new cards: 9 new zombie themed Event cards, from Sewer Rats to a Desperate Last Stand to get some edge of the sofa surprises in. And all 27 new Scavenge cards for your survivors to find, from the creepy Dolls Head to the over-the-top Lawnmower.
All printed in colour, with fronts, backs (and even very thin sides!). These are identical to the ones presented in the PDF, just all properly printed.

I keep getting an error when ever I try to add overseas postage to the cart.
I get this message: "PayPal cannot process this transaction because of a problem with the seller's website. Please contact the seller directly to resolve this problem."

Sorry about that! We get that intermittently with some overseas orders! Send me a mail via mail@crooked-dice.co.uk and I'll sort it out for you.

Gruesome 7TV spinoff horror 7ombieTV gets into print as a 100 copy limited edition. All the gnawing fear of the PDF but you can hold it in your hands if you dare! 64 full colour pages of standalone rules, almost exactly the same as the PDF but with a few edits in. 7ombieTV cards and tokens are also available.
The print book is up at £12 + postage: UK, Euro, Int'l (surface/air)
The book + PDF is £17 + postage
The tokens are £6 – note these are pre-orders so orders containing this item will be held until they come into stock.
-
Excellent news! :)
-
Ordered mine. :)

Ordered mine. :)
Thank you!!

almost exactly the same as the PDF but with a few edits in.
Is there an errata? Or maybe an updated PDF available?
I dont have the cash for hard copies of my 7TV PDFs at the moment, but I would like to know what has been altered or corrected if possible.
-
Almost nothing in 7ombieTV. A couple of very minor typoes and cross-references with 7TV. Plus a couple of pages were reordered and a poster dropped to get it to fit into a print friendly 68 pages.
The only significant oversight was for Crossbows - which do not trigger Zombie Reactions.
We'll get an erratta PDF up though.
-
Thanks for that.
-
Wow, mine arrived today*, that's fast!
Just had a quick leaf through: Good quality print, good paper. The rules themselves are nicely laid out and a pleasure to read. :-*
*I ordered it around the same time I made my previous post on this thread.
-
Mine arrived yesterday. I have the pdf, but I am old-school at heart - a book is always best for me! :)
-
I got mine yesterday too, I also bought the PDF when it came out but I prefer to have it iin bookform :D
-
Cheers gents. Just had cracking gain with my son. Bruce and two cops vs 14 Zombies. The Zombie Infection meant a relentless hoard and, by the end, the two cops reanimated! I guess I would say this, but cracking fun!
-
Got my print copy - brill!
-
got mine - great stuff. Want to see the movies!
