Its about time I collected my Great Northern war project in one topic on this forum.
A small (and very colored ;)) history lesson for the interested
http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.com/2011/09/caroleans.html
But enough about that, what we all want to see is the pictures.
This is unfortunate not my main project but in between some other projects I intend to paint some miniatures for my very slowly growing 15mm Great Northern war collection. And I thought this could motivate me to paint some more northern war models.

My Danish troops, Danska Garden til fods and Dronningens Livregiment.

My Swedish troops consisting of:
Närkes regiment in red and blue.
Västerbottens regiment in white and blue.
I put together a small tutorial on how I panted the Danish troops.

Very nice paint job. Love the GNW era.
-
Really nice painting! Nice to see someone else doing Swedes vs Danes instead of vs Russians!
Are they based for Gå På?
-
I love them, splendid work! I really do like 15mm, a definite range I have a soft spot for!
-
Thank you all for the coments.
Abhorsen950 > Yeah, there is something special with 15mm.
Tomek917 > Yes you got that right, based for Gå På.
But I think I could play them based like this for Black Powder which is a rulesystem I know.
You got to love historical when you can use the same miniatures to diffrent rules.
And a small uppdate.
My Danish Fynske regiment.

It was some time that I last posted here but as I just finished some new troops I thought I could bring this thread to the surface.

I have a squadron of those too! ;)
Nice brushwork as usual!

Awesome work Engel, it's inspired me to dig out my own 15mm GNW stuff for an overhaul, and noting your location, I may have a lot of questions to run past you. Would that be OK?
I'm certainly interested to see what you've done about 15mm flags.

Thanks. its not my area of expertise but I will try to help if I can.

Looking good :-)
