Title: Hello!
Post by: doublenot7 on 27 September 2011, 02:05:45 PM
This is my first obligatory posting so I don't get deleted!  I have varied gaming interest but of late it has mainly been Old West.  I currently play Gutshot!, Six Gun Sound, and just recently started Legends of the Old West.  I've been adding to my Old West miniature and building collection and will update later with some pictures.

So howdy ya'll!

I got my buildings from Sarissa Precision in recently and assembled them.  The roofs were rather plain MDF board so I added some beams and an antique walnut stain.

Some in game shots while we were playing GW's Legends of the Old West:

The buildings can be easily painted or stained but the plain even works.  I need to download and print some old signs to fill these blank sign boards up.

Good looking buildings.
Will have to check out the company.
Notice you have a Cowtown building,
have a number of them myself.
Also welcome to the Forum.
PS Are your buildings regular 25mm or their heroic 25mm, thanks.

The Sarissa building are the Heroic scale.  They fit well with the ERTL Cowtown set.  I still have lots of detailing to do but I do really like the buildings.

We played 2 more games in our campaign today; Open Range and Stagecoach.  I had the field advantage on the cattle raid but failed a Run for the Hills check and gave the win to my opponent.  Stagecoach I thought I was at a disadvantage as the attacker and no mounts but I won the game pretty solidly.  Unfortunately I left my digital camera at home and the cell cam just was not doing it due to the low lighting level at this establishment.

Stagecoach scenario brought in enough cash for my posse to add two more Toughs for my Outlaws along with hiring a Prospector.  Dynamite, wahoo!
