Title: 40mm Bofors gun in 28mm

Just to let you guys know.Old Glory(at my request,great bunch of people there) are selling the 40 mm bofors gun that is mounted on their patrol boat seperately now.They also have the 20mm oerlikons for sale.
I think I am going to try and make a ground mount for it or ,failing that, mount them on trucks.
Cool looking gun and AFAIK not done in 28mm before.

Here is a pic of the patrol boat.They don't have a single of the gun itself.
Actually they call it a Higgins boat.The gun is in the Houstons gun and wagons section.

Company B also does one,it comes with an LRDG Ford truck,I'm sure if you asked nicely they would sell it on it's own ;)

I can't find it on Company B site.I found the truck but no bofors.

The Ford truck comes with all sorts of bits,either to make it a MG armed truck or a Bofors gun truck,I'd photograph mine however it is unbuilt and I have no batteries for my camera (until the wife picks some up this afternoon). I can vouch for Company Bs stuff though,it's cracking and easy to put together (I have built two of there Chev. trucks and the Blitz Buggy) :)

well it does say it comes with accessories ??? I would think a 40mm gun is a bit more than an accessory though lol
Shame they didn't take a few minutes to say so on their website.I got 2 from Old Glory all ready and will probably pick up two more at Fall In.
You're right I'm sure they would sell it seperate as I have gotten bits from them before.I have the Lancia with the 90mm gun, superb kit that is!
