The Krom Korporation had relied upon sponsored criminal gangs to maintain law and order on the world of Grimwas. One day ancient alien artifacts where discovered. Shortly after that the minerals and raw materials that came from the world stopped.
After contacting the main gang under their control “the Bid Eds” the Corporation discovered that groups of adventures and explorers arrived on the world shortly after the discovery of the alien artifacts. These groups had caused the downfall of many loyal gangs. Many other gangs rebelled. Then other Corporations had arrived on the world setting up trading posts. The current situation is that only three loyal gangs remain on Grimwas. The rest of the world had slid into anarchy and chaos.
Rumors that the alien finds may lead to new types of technologies has made the Krom corporation realise that Grimwas may be a valuable asset. The fact other corporations are moving has worried the directors. Krom has dispatched its military arm - the Red Lance to take control of the world at any cost, punish the adventurers and show the other corporations the door.
