Title: Help ! Need snakeskin tutorial

Oh brothers of the brush I need some help.I am trying to reproduce Tallahasse's snakeskin coat from the final scene of Zombieland and having a duece of a time.Tips,tutorial leads ,shells for my 45??? Thanks in advance,Inky

Wire mesh pressed into putty might work.  My 2 cents.
