Thanks, ML. Recently, my wife and I visited a Qiang tower in the Tibetan part of Sichuan Province, where we were given a personal tour by a member of the owning family.

We took lots of pictures of both the tower and neighbouring Tibetan-style houses.

Unfortunately, the upper floors of the tower were not in a safe enough state for us to have climbed to the top.
