Nice muted pallette! Well done. :)
-
Nothing worse than a zombie mime acting out eating invisible brains.
-
Cheers Achilles. :)
Papa Spanky: at least he "ain't doin' that walkin' against the wind s#!?" to quote a movie. :)

I like the pink bunny slippers. Between those and the open robe, that would scare me if I saw it coming at me.
-
Interesting figures, well painted.
Really like the skin shading on the guy with the coffee cup.
Would hate to run into any of them,
would run the other way in a hurry.

Very nice studio miniatures and tengu nice, only thing is bases look a little dull?
-
Lovely job. Very nice execution on the skin tones. The only thing that I can see missing is a child zombie board to post them on. That would certainly make the set really ping. Great selection of manufactures.
Snitchy sends.

A Fenris boss-type:

Cheers on the minis. :)
About the bases - I can totally see your point, but for me as gaming pieces I rarely care for over-cluttered bases. The bases I do therefore tend to use a limited palette so when mixing minis from say a few different ranges into a single game, they should look like they are from the same set of minis if you get my point.
-
Nice work! They should fit in with your superheroes very nicely Id say.
Are you deliberately using the blue clothing as some kind of in game identifier (like squad markings for want of a better term)?
As was mentioned earlier, the skin on the bathrobed guy is particularly nice, as is the Fenris/Frothers big guy.
I prefer plain bases too although mine are plain to the point of laziness these days. Its a matter of taste for sure, but there are a lot of figures around that have bases that are so busy that they detract rather than enhance the figure.
Looking forward to seeing more :)

Thanks for the kind words mate. :)
Yep, you spotted the choice in the blue colour. My recent Zombie Cops were another group of 3, and I have another group of 3 finished, with at least 2 more groups mid-painting. So each group gets a thematic colour, yet hopefully on the tabletop they should look a little more random. Cheers for noticing. :)

Hi mate, no it wasn't a clutter issue, just they looked a little bombed out ww2 warehouse floor if you know what I mean. Personal choice and all that. I have a limited palette for basing too, just go for more pavement and road markings personally.
Now a little TCR wouldn't go a miss, splatters of course ;).

Cheers CV. I guess some laziness has crept in as well re lack of road markings. Most I envisage as being pavement etc, but some are clearly roads and could benefit from some road markings, agreed. :)
TCR? Me no understand! ;D

Tamyia clear red: you've got read on you. ;)
(Take a look through my zed thread, I use it sparingly, others slap it all over, (bit like Henry Cooper and brut aftershave!).
