I am impressed. Simply as that, impressed. This is a fine collection of miniatures, and the fact that its 20mm makes it all the more impressive, same as with your german forces. Thanks for sharing these great pictures, they granted a new pot of coffe to be made so I can enjoy this for a bit longer! :)

Lovely work Piers on the Brits.
Cheers,

Gorgeous. So much detail I'd have assumed they were 28mm. Incredible work.

They look fantastic. I love AB, but have been disappointed by the quality of some of the recent casts.
On the painting, what did you use for the webbing colour, looks much better than the green shade I've seen others use.

Wish my WWII Canadians looked that good!

I love the AB miniatures and you have done a cracking job on them :-* :-* :-*

My way for doing '44 British...
Step 1 - Coat in VJ English Uniform and then a healthy slosh of GW Devlin Mud
(http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss205/BigP_from_the_GMG/20mm%20British%20WW2/DSCN0177-1.jpg)
Step 2 - Re-highlight with VJ English Uniform
(http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss205/BigP_from_the_GMG/20mm%20British%20WW2/DSCN0178.jpg)
Step 3 - Highlight uniform and paint in webbing with VJ British Tankcrew
(http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss205/BigP_from_the_GMG/20mm%20British%20WW2/DSCN0179-1.jpg)
Step 4 - Highlight webbing with VJ British Tankcrew Highlight
(http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss205/BigP_from_the_GMG/20mm%20British%20WW2/DSCN0180-1.jpg)
...and thats the uniform and webbing done!
