That’s a really nice unit you have their :)
Great blog as well. I love seeing old school Citadel and Marauder miniatures painted and based to a high standard.

Beautiful, Blue :-* - and certainly worth waiting for. Good to see all well and back painting ;)

Great work on those orcs, and the rest of the pictures on your blog are fabulous as well! I personally don't like the uniform shield design (the embossed shield with the skull) and I think some embossed Marauder Orc shields would really spice them up, but that's definitely a preference thing. I do love the way you painted the shields, very rich (which your models are as well). So well done all round!

The Morrisons certainly did turn out a lot of UBERCOOL cool minis in the brief existence of their company. You did a FINE job of making them EVEN COOLER...VERY WELL DONE!

Pil,
Thanks for the comments...but I'm a bit confused about your shields comment...these skull shields are Marauder Orc shields...are you just saying that you would prefer a mix of the marauder shields designs? that is certainly a possibility as I still have so many guys to go...and so few of these shields left. Which ones are you fond of? I find the Moon ones a bit big...and the wolf ones and heart with dagger will be used for my wolf riders...I may mix in a few of the "woven" looking ones.

More old-school excellence that has my jaw hitting the ground.

Nice looking orcs. They would have to be in my top 3 list of "Best Orcs Ever" List. You are seriously making me want to collect these Orcs too.

Super work, words don't describe my love for old school models, keep it up!
-
:) nice clean work, thats how I like them (even orks) ;)
I still have a few around to be painted for my ork & dino horde.

Classic figures, and you have done them justice!
-
I love old school Citadel, but have to say that these were most definitely not my favourite figures.
Saying that your paintjob is superb, as always, and I am starting to soften in my attitude towards them since seeing your take on them!
Great work!
:-* :-* :-*

Bloody nice, Blue! As Mason, I'm not particularily fond of the models. I do however have very nostalgic memories of them. That drummer is still serving as a cheer leader for my old orc BB team. =) Also, one of the axe men was the subject of my first attempt at painting armour the "basecoat, wash, drybrush, drybrush" way.
Edit: God damn, Powerfrog! You've got some nice armies on your site! :o :-*

A great looking bunch of greenskins there.
Are you still able to pick these up or are they second hand from EBay only now?
-
Thanks Odo...as far as the models go they are long out of production so can only be gathered on the secondary market for a few $ each.
