Good luck and hope you take lots of pictures from the event!

Love the look of that board so far! :) Hope for some pix of this one as well.

Just a photo of the continuous work. Work on the second table has been started and we just need a few more layers of paint on the first table - then it's of to the sprinkling of grass and flock. I apologize for the photo quality, but the light isn't the best at night in my gaming room.

Yet another update, this time with a few tombstones (and no you can never ever have too many of those on the table ;) )

Well, I'd better give the rules a quick read-through before going, then! :)
I haven't played the game for a while - am waiting for some guys at the club in Svendborg (Skjold) get their Treshold teams and Lurker hordes finished.

Those tables are going to look great. Wish Esbjerg wasn't so far away so I could see them for real.
And the Chapel looks great.
-
What Skratch said. Just a bit far for me to go...but I want to play on those tables!

Well, I live near enough, and I think I'll bring my Treshold team, just in case. ;)
I'll be bringing one friend on Friday evening, and two other guys from Odense will attend on Saturday (an leave again in the evening). I still try to get a couple more from my club in Svendborg to go, but most of them are GW-afficionados - and those I've lured int SA are too busy with job and family....
-
Thank you for the kind words about the tables. :) A shame the distance is too great for some of you since more the Strange Aeons enthusiasts the more eldritch horror ;)
We're just putting the finishing touches on minis and terrain pieces and certainly looking forward to presenting the finished result at Horisont as well as pictures here.

...but I want to play on those tables!
Seconded. :o
-
Well, I looked at the games on the tables, but as I know the system very well, I opted to play other games instead - Horisont is as much about discovering new land and people as it is about promoting one's favourite games :)
Spicker ran the games in a true story-telling manner which linked the two boards whether Treshold succeded or failed the first game. Nicely done!
And I experienced to be considered geek-ish by another attendee, because I picked up a model and exclaimed: "Ah, Hound of Tindalos!" lol

I realise this is way overdue, but you shouldn't be cheated of some pictures of the Strange Aeons tables from Horisont III.
The two tables
(http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff469/meizter77/Horisont%20III/IMG_2423.jpg)
The first table sent the Treshold team to interrogate a cultist leader living in a secluded cabin in the woods.
A dice was rolled to determine if the path the agents took led them to the cabin of the cultist or to the crypt (where a rather nasty lurker would appear). The cabin and crypt would only be placed on the table after the dice roll which occured when the agents had line of sight to the area.
the agents have unfortunately stumbled upon an ancient crypt in the woods...
A shanty town (or Hooverville as the term would be for the period) where cultists waited to ambush the unsuspecting agents.
And the second table which presented a straight up showdown between Treshold and lurkers.
The Red Lion Inn situated conveniently close to the a small curch.

Chruch and graveyard

All in all there was a good deal of attention on the game and as far as I have been informed (I was unfortunatly not able to be there myself due to personal matters) quite a lot of games were run on the tables.

Funny and lovely game!
I enjoyed it tremendously. :)
-
Those tables turned out nicely. I'd like to have a game on both of them. 8)
-
Like the scenery.
-
Fantastic stuff! Love the look of all those trees...I've only got six stands for my table atm, now it looks barren...
-
Great looking scenery!

Thank you for the kind words :D
