isn't that what they called Haussa infantry?
anyway I am looking for some Haussas in British service, 28mm.
I am half thinking of useing Pontoonier Miniatures Gurkas.

Castaway arts has Haussa inf for the Ashanti wars in at least two poses maybe more.  Great folks good service even from OZ.
