Title: Jim Corbett
Post by: Jim French on 21 October 2011, 10:28:09 PM
I suppose this is Colonial stuff.  I just finished re-reading Col Jim Corbett's Indian hunting Triology--Maneaters of Kumaon, The Maneating Leopard of Rudraprayag, and The Temple Tiger and other Maneaters.  All three show India from just before WWI to just before WWII.  Corbett's love for the country and its inhabitants--both human and animal--is very real.  I would recommend all three for a glimpse at a now gone world.

It's been awhile since I read them, but yes, highly recommended!
