Title: Gordon Institute Observatory
Post by: War In 15MM on 22 October 2011, 09:03:35 PM
The building is by Pegasus; the observation is made from pieces picked up at the swap meet for a few cents each; the observatory dome was originally an orange squeezer and the telescope was a tube shaped object I thought looked good.  The base of the dome is another piece of plastic I bought at the swap meet for a few cents but I have no idea what it was originally

Very cool building.
Love how you find all these old toys
and turn them into "treasures." :-*

 :o Orange squeezer! Of course!

Consider that idea thoroughly filed for future reference... :D

Great looking piece of scenery btw; very atmospheric. Too bad that thunderstorms in the background would ruin any night of observing, even though that would be the correct weather to accompany this structure... ;)
