Title: Cthulhu in 15mm?
Post by: Tas on 29 November 2007, 08:54:21 AM
I am predominantly a 15mm VSF gamer, but would like to add a touch of Cthulhu to my games.

Does anyone make Cthulhu figs in 15mm?  All the ones I have seen are in 25/28mm

cheers!
Tas

I think a lot of the 25mm scale mythos monsters would work fine in 15mm games. In fact some would work better in that scale than they do in 25mm! The bigger, the better as far as monsters are concerned I reckon!

As for investigators, I not sure but a few of Peter Pig's old west civilians might pass:

The Reaper Cthulhu will work good as the old god.

This is of interest for me too, so thank you from me also. In planning to make use my growing collection of plastic TT/H0 buildings used mostly for WW2 15mm gaming.
So any hints on where to find 15-18mm 1920’s civilians is greatly appreciated!

Here’s some pic's of my town a couple of moths ago, (it’s twice the size now!):

Thank you. It's a mix of Faller, Kibri and Heljan, but Faller is the preferable one amongst them.

The Martian Empires Cephalods from Black Hat would make great Cthulhu beasties, and are 18mm scale.

The flying one looks particularly suitable. Some of the characters and other bits in the Imperial Martian range might do for cultists and stuff too.

I used a Horrorclik of  'Avatar Of Cthulhu' or somthing like that for my 15mil army (see: LPL season 2) and thought he was a good size...unless you want somthing monsterous and then should use the old Murch 'thulhu. (IMHO)

There's this new game comming out called Monsterpocalypse by Privateer Press and it has a faction of Cthuloid figures.

I haven't seen them next to anything yet but I imagine that the big ones are about 3 or 4 inches high.
