Mongoose put up photos of some new figures for the Judge Dredd Miniature Game today.
Of particular note in my opinion is the cool Orangutan Mob Boss figure...

There is a Judge Dekker, a second Klegg and a Klegghound (http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/miniatures/judge-dredd.html) too.

I still live in hope of a Dirty Frank mini...

Klegg with the raised arm looks odd, arm's wrong somewhere, can't say where, but looks wrong. Rest are all very nice, maintaining resistance to this range otherwise I'll be knee deep in Mega City dread lead DROKK!!!! ;)

I missed out on huge amounts of the GoMC1 range first time around and regretted it a lot. Therefore I am trying my best to keep up this time around.

Id say that it could well happen. The character figures that they have released so far are unusual choices, but cool all the same. I hope that they make more figures that Foundry didnt make.
Incidentally, in case you didnt know Mongoose are releasing a resin Manta Prowl Tank around Xmas.

that's a render... would like to see the resin before calling it... could so easily go pear shaped...

The Orang-utan looks great, as does the Judge but the Kleggs are a bit naff. The heads are much better sculpted than the bodies and that adds a bit of mis-match to them...

Which rules set do you guys prefer. Gangs of Mega city one, or the free down load version?

I have played 5-10 games of each system. I find JDMG to be far better than GoMC1, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of getting that Judge Dredd atmosphere.
Its free to download and updated every six months or so so far so it wont cost you anything to take a look for yourself :)

The new Klegg isnt great but the old one looks alright to me. Part of the problem is that the comic design of the Kleggs was also pretty naff I suppose. Its very seventies-UK-boys-comic looking, if you know what I mean.

I have been crossing my fingers since I heard about it. It will be hard to resist buying one even if it is dodgy, but I am hopeful.
Has anyone any experience of Mongooses other resin products? Their recent spaceships are resin I think.

I've got the old klegg and it is a great, chunky sculpt. This new one looks terrible...and the Klegghound is also not what I was hoping for... :?
Love that Orang boss thou! What a cool sculpt! Fingers crossed for more like this.
