Title: Pegasus hobbies palm trees
Post by: Mo! on 08 November 2011, 09:31:17 AM
Does any of you fine chaps know whether: Pegasus Hobbies 1/72 Large Palm Trees Style A 8.5inches tall # 6
Are any good for 28mm (black scorpion) pirates... 8,5 inch doesn't sound to bad... the 1/72 is confusing though...

I love the pegasus cacti for my old west gaming so....

I would have thought so as I use Scenics trees at 4.5 inches and they are more than big enough

Many people use very fat and very tall trees.  The ones I use are quite thin and the tallest are only 5 inches.  When combined with some other vegetation they look fine.

I have both the Type A and Type B palms. The Type B are actually the taller of the two. Both work well with 28mm figures IMO.

I have their banna plants which could be mixed in on the bases to give a bit of a jungle feel, together with aquarium plants and such, lots of threads on how to get a good jungle look scattered around the forum
