I have just finished painting some Copelstone Bolshie Sailors. Like all his castings they are great sculptures and paint up well and I have not posted photos for a while so I thought I would post them here. However I seem to have lost any ability to get things in focus and these photos are the best I could manage.

Those are great! Some really nice minis, and you've done a great job on them.
Your problem with the focus may be because you are taking the photo too close. Looks like you're using an SLR? The depth of field effect will be lessened if you take your picture from further away, and zoom in from afar.

Thanks for that. I was worried that my eyes were getting worse. I didnt seem to have the problem a few months ago, I will try to do as you advice next time I take photos. Thanks.

VERY nice! Well done.

Absolutely superb set of figures - hope to see far more of your bolshies in the future

Cracking paint job! :-*

I have always liked those figures.
You have done a fine job painting them.

Cracking paint job. Not surprised your eyes are going painting those perfect stripes on the sailors tops! How did you do the flag lettering ink pen or paint job?
-
Great stuff.

Lovely, the striped top is very impressive!

The painting of the stripey top made me question my sanity for a while. Then a commission came for more of them. Ahaaa!
The flag is made from Foil and says "Soviet of Toy Soldiers". I penciled the letters then painted them.
Thanks for the comments
