Started working on my Siberia Miniatures 54mm display model of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, leader of the Cossack uprising against the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth. An event that started the period known as "the Deluge" in Polish history.
My aim is to have him painted up this week.
Next WIP post should have everything but the coat and base finished. A few more pictures on my blog: http://anatolisgameroom.blogspot.com/2011/11/54mm-bohdan-khmelnytsky-wip-2.html

The flesh tones look lovely so far.

Thanks, I will be posting further updates and the end result in this thread :)

The coat and the base left, hope to have him finished today. I also hope that the matt varnish won't ruin everything towards the end as the weather have turned really cold and damp.
