Hi all,
I want to include some special Zeds in my ATZ campaign. I was mostly inspired by
Left 4 Dead.
Fat (Obese) Zombie - As if Hard as Nails (treats first OOF as Knock Back)
Zombie SWAT Trooper / Zombie Soldier - Counts as being protected.
Tank - Has to be OD'ed three times before it stays down. Optional: Will throw a
chunk of the pavement at the nearest human in LOS at the start of each
activation, or as soon as it sees one while moving forwad (Range 12, Target 1,
Impact 3).
Optional: Moves like a Rager.
Spitter - Will stay at 12" of the nearest human in LOS if possible and spit
corrosive acid (Range 12"). The attack creates a puddle of acid at the target's
location (Radius 2). When a human activates in or moves into a puddle of acid,
he is immediately subject to an attack with an Impact of 2. The puddle stays 3
turns before dissolving.
Boomer - Same as Fat Zombie, plus: Attacks humans within 3" by spitting bile at
them. The attack itself does no damage, but stays 3 turns on the target's body.
Every zombie within 12" of the target will spent his whole movement moving
towards it to attack it. Additionally, new zombies are spawned at the start of
the next turn as at the start of the scenario. If the Boomer is killed, all
humans in base contact with it are covered in bile immediately.
Witch - Does not move, instead loudly crying the whole time while being
seemingly unaware of her surroundings. She has an "alert radius/territory of 3"
around her (a.k.a. "Death Zone"). She is disturbed and explodes into a fit of
rage as soon as one of the following happens, though:
a. A human normal moves through her territory and passes 0d6 vs. REP.
b. A human fast moves through her territory and passes 0D6 vs. REP-2.
c. A shot (or other loud noise) occurs inside her territory.
d. Someone shoots at her, regardless from which range.
e. Someone attack her in melee.
When only 1d6 is passed on test a. or b., the Witch becomes suspicious and
starts to growl. All further tests a. and b. are at a further -1 to REP.
As soon as she is disturbed, she immediately (interrupting the current player's
turn) attacks the human who triggered it by charging him (or moving towards him
if farther away). She throws 4d6 in melee, and her sharp claws have an Impact of
3 (= quite deadly).
The Witch moves like a Rager.
Clown Zombie - As long as he is "alive", he screams loudly, spawning new zombies
each turn as if being the location of 6 shots fired.
ToDo: Rules for Zombie Dog, Hunter, Smoker, Charger, Nemesis Clone (Resident
Evil 2, something as tough as a Tank and armed with a Minigun and a Rocket
Launcher :D).

Copplestone does some nice zombie troopers , cheap too.
