Hi all,
I've posted some 15mm VSF pics for your comments (be gentle with me). The collection isn't huge yet but it's coming along. Many more contraptions to build and troops to paint.

I'll post some pics of the 28mm bits as soon as I can.

Great stuff, thunderchicken - looking forward to seeing the 28mm stuff next :)

Oh, I like those German Powertruppen. I think their outfits look like Dan Dare spacesuits. Which is exceeding cool. 8)

Thanks for the thumbs up. It is a rather nervy time when one displays one's wares in public for the first time.
-
I second Malamute - these are great. Can't wait to see some 28mm stuff.
BTW - you mentioned the GASLIGHT website as inspiration for the blimp. Do you actually play GASLIGHT too? I so , its good to see another player over this side of the pond.

My good man, I certainly do play GASLIGHT, both the original set for 28mm and Battles for 15mm. I find them the perfect rules for VSF and easy to tweak. Do you play often?

Thunderchicken,
Did you just move to SW Ontario from the UK??

Always good to see some 15mm VSF.
Very nice indeed!

Really like the Blimp!

Thanks for the kind words chaps.
Ricco, if everything had gone to plan I would have moved to Canada in October. Alas life is full of unwanted surprises and I'm still here in Shropshire. Hoping to be in Ontario next year.

Well done indeed Thunderchicken - great to see another in the realm of 15mm VSF!
Your electric cannon and powertruppen in particular impress me, but all of it is great. I'll go against the grain of the other comments here and say Dont worry about the 28mm stuff and keep going with the one true (though sadly neglected) scale!
Cheers!

I like them too.
Peter Pig Minis ?
Cheers

I use GASLIGHT too for VSF, for the same reasons as yourself. I don't get to play as often as I like, but am in the process of remedying that.
I haven't yet had a chance to play Battles, but it looks like I have the opportunity to do so over the Christmas break in what looks to be a big battle. An after action report will definately be posted.

Very nice Mr. Chicken. You really can't argue with electric connons. Looking forward to your 28s.

I like them too.
Peter Pig Minis ?
The British infantry and artillery are all from the Peter Pig Sudan range. I've used dismounted Camel Corps for the infantry as I like the the goggles on the helmets. The US troops are Old Glory and the Powertruppen are from Alternative Armies' Laserburn collection.
Sitting on my shelves and waiting to be painted are more Germans, more Brits, more US, Canadians, Belgians, the South American United Expedition, French, Askaris, Algerians, Chinese, Italians and Indians. All with their own contraptions too!
Should take me up to retirement in 30 years quite nicely.

Excellent stuff Thunderchicken
I like the Powertruppen. I've seen these figures before painted up as divers and they look quite good. When I eventually get around to it I plan on using them as an element of my Nemo Units and as space explorers.
Like others have mentioned it's nice to see a fellow 15mm VSF Gamer.
I look forward to seeing more, including the 28mm.
