Title: My 15mm Judge Dredd
Post by: Fjodin on 21 November 2011, 10:00:45 PM
15mm Judge Dredd. Minis from Laserburn range named Adventures and Star Soldiers
http://15mm.co.uk/Adventurers_and_Star_Soldiers.htm
Their urban bases are just sand painted dark grey, heavy brybrushed with light grey, light drybrush with white and draw road markings. The secret here is to make really flat road surface. For this you need to cut miniature base to minimum, and then place miniature into hole of 20mm washer. Cover holdes with greenstuff and apply PVA glue to base. Then use sand with VERY TINY grains. If you want I can make a tutorial.

Repainted Mechwarrior Dark Age robot. His right arm can be used as water cannon or as a flamethrower.

Again nice work Fjodin. I bought some of those figures for my Rogue Trader project to be used as adeptus arbites. And tutorials are always welcome, so if you got spare time ;)..

How cool  :-*

Do you have plans for anything else to add to the force?  Bikes maybe?  Who will the Justice Dept be going up against?

I would love to see anything else Mega City One related.

Great work.
Good to see these figures still around after over 30years. I remember seeing some of the unarmed judges painted up as  Rollerball teams way back in the early 80s

I am planning to make 2 6man squads of Judged with pistols and 1 heavy squad with shields. Guys with yellow line on bases will be squad leaders. Guys with red stripes are heavy weapons squad attachments. I'll have 1 Squad attachment for each squad.
There also will be bike squad.

Laserburn human figures are VERY old, but their detail level are almost same as modern 15mm figures.

Now that brings back memories...I used to have a load of Laserburn stuff in the 80's.

You've done a better job of painting yours though :).

The bikes are great and you can get ones with no rider so they are tailor made for the little 'I've caught you and am now writing you a ticket' diorama.

I was also impressed with the dog and handler...tiny dog!

Much reminiscing....

Laserburn dogs looks almost like Vicious dogs from Fallout 3!

I have this question for most of my minis :) I buy my minis not only for gaming, but for collecting purposes :)

Great PJ. I own some of these so know how steady your hand must have been to do the red on the helmets.
