Title: Zorro, Billy The Kid, Lone Ranger and Gen Custer...
Post by: Elprez on November 29, 2011, 05:04:31 PM
Saw these up for limited release an the Northstar Facebook page:-

I have the Custer figure, but hadn't seen the Lone Ranger one before.
Thought some on here would be interested.

Thanks, Nick, I make a suggestion and you move at light speed.  Incidentally, I bought this the first time around, but felt certain they would gain a lot of interest..............  :D :D

Ordered Lone Ranger (have Zorro, no interest in other two.)

Now I need a Tonto figure so I can do the "Lone Ranger and Tonto in Mexico!"  Yes, I know it's past my era (pre-MAW) but I will figure out a back story...

Gracias,

Glenn

Yes indeed. I turned down an offer of the Billy the Kid miniature quite some time ago, since I at that point refused to pick up a single Old West miniature... since I know where it would lead me, and naturally, building a Old West table (with surroundings) I might as well get the other cool figures, allways room for a Zorro or Lone Ranger game in my house, and Custer is a great looking figure and will fit right in to our setting.
In the end... ACW have sneaked in and are here to stay I suppose. I had promised my self a lot of things and one was to not starting new "armies" for wargaming, but to stay true to skirmishing, but I am a man that easily fool my self.
It it had been a crime to comit self betrayal, I would be in prison for like I think.
I wouldent mind some Indians and Cavalry either, hehe, and I am sure it will materialize, one way or another, I mean... Custer :D

Got Billy the Kid and Custer when they were free figures somewhere. I've even painted Billy but Custer still eyes me up from the corner of one of my trays of unpainted stuff daring me to actually slap some paint on him.
The other 2 are nice, but I can't see a reason for them in my (temporarily) skint state.
