I finally took some decent photos of my Firefly miniatures. Unfortunately Mal just won't take a good picture.

Kaylee and Book are from Heresy. Both Jaynes are from Chronoscope.

Very nice. Gluteus Maximus would love these if he would appear on the forum. Are they converted at all or as they come?

Oooooooh. I feel another project coming on. Very cool and nice freehand on Jayne's shirt.
Snitchy sends.

Wonderful likenesses. Book is my favorite.

No Conversion at all. Right out of the blister / plastic bag.

Lovely. All instantly recognisable, but something about the paintjob on book sets him above the rest. Great work.
Any plans for a Dr Simon Tam figure?
I have my Firefly project sitting in a box waiting for a suitable figure for him. Wouldnt mind something better than the figure that I have for Inara either.
I look forward to seeing the rest of the crew.

love jaynes hat from his ma "very cunnin'" and the blue logo was great. keep it up. :) :)

That's funny, I always thouht of the "Kirby McDowell, Space Privateer" as more of Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis) from "The Fifth Element," but you paint job makes him a great unhatted Jayne!
-
I did a decent "Inara" by taking a Reaper Geisha figure that had the right sort of look, and swapping the head with an old Foundry Darkest Africa "Jane". This has since been sold.

Pretty good paint jobs... the details make the characters, for sure :) As for the sculpts, Shepherd Book is bang on. The others somewhat less so, although the "hat" Jayne has, well, the hat. And Vera, which is pretty identifiable too.

I actually painted the Mal model last week from Heresy

Really nice looking paint job. I have a Heresy Mal painted too. I just couldn't get the whole miniature in focus last week. I'll still playing around with some new camera equipment and the learning curve is steep for me right now. I should get that picture taken this weekend if all goes well.
