How many rifles, Lewis guns, Vickers, etc., per squad? Per platoon? Infantry, specifically.
And were Sinks intermixed at the squad level in WWI?
Thanks!

This has already been covered a few times in this section of the forum ,this is probably the most helpful

Great. Thanks a bunch.
I accidentally ordered an extra Lewis section from Copplestone so I have six guns and 10 rifles. I love the minis. Just wondering how many more rifles to balance it out.... Glad Christmas is coming! :)

Quite a lot of rifles, as you might already have discovered!
The Brits ran one Lewis per platoon, sometimes two, at least on the Western Front. Assuming toys aren't as easy to come by in the ME theatres, you've now got most of an infantry company's worth of Lewis guns!
Brigade packages their British with Lewis guns as four Lewis guns and four loaders per pack, so it's not just Copplestone who cause us to be kind of overpopulated with Lewis guns...
