Title: Italeri Bridge
Post by: Verderer on 17 December 2011, 12:46:28 PM
Put some paint on one of these, they're 1/72 officially but I think it's a tad over-sized for that scale. So they might work for 28mm, especially if you're not too fussy about it? The LoTR minis would work great without their bases, with bases so-so. Maybe not so good for 30mm+ scales? Anyhow, something to consider, if you are looking for one.

It's there alright: http://www.italeri.com/scheda.asp?idProdotto=921&idCategoria=37&idSottocategoria=0

It's been around for a while, I dunno a year at least?

EDIT: actually, it's not in the shop itself, only in the catalogue? Might be out of stock, or maybe even sold out by now? I should think you can find one in modelling shops or ebay?

It's a nice simple little kit, only about five or six pieces. Trouble is that it is quite large, the width of thing makes it a bugger to use. Yes it does work well with 28mm.

Might be easy to make a narrower version by cutting some pieces down a bit?

Alas I didn't contemplate that before glueing mine together. I'll find a use for it someday.

Thanks for sharing this. It's exactly what I was looking for and didn't know it existed.
