Title: Pulp 1950s GI
Post by: JollyBob on December 10, 2007, 07:38:28 PM
I bought a load of Black Tree GIs to be the backup team for Hellboy in the 1950s.

This is the first of them, and I'd appreciate your comments on the colour scheme, as I didn't know what they should look like, my frame of reference is really black and white movies for that era.

I know he looks a bit "green army-man", but that's kind of the look I was after. The backup team should be disposable and not too memorable as far as I'm concerned.

Also, he has no eyes, as I couldn't be bothered to paint them, and I don't think he needs them under that helmet.

He does have a BPRD arm patch though.

Anyway, what do you think?

Pretty much the same colour scheme I use for my WWII figures so it's ok by me (Green is good)  :)

Cool! I'm tempted to do something similar with my Werid War II Americans. As long as it feels right, it doesn't have to be 'right'. :)
