Title: Madgamers zulu rules, anyone got a copy?
Post by: Matthew83 on December 21, 2011, 08:58:05 AM
Hi all,

A couple of years back Maidenhead & District wargamers held an award winning zulu war participation game using Baccus 6mm with a custom ruleset and basing system.
I've been on the trawl for them but no-one seems to know where they might be available.
Their own website has had requests and it seems the link offering the rules has been broken for some time (something to do with exceeding site memory?).
Would anyone here, if they have them, be kind enough to post them (rules and basing)?

I'm aware of TSATF, science vs pluck, the freewargamesrules site and others but I quite like the idea of basing large groups together as Madgamers have done.

Thanks in advance

Matt

Hi Matt,

I'm part of the crew who worked on the Zulu game. Painted figs and ran games rather than designed the rules but ive spoken to the tech guys and the website has been updated, use this link:

I was under the impression you didn't need to register for that- but hey ho, your account has been activated.

We actually have had loads of Russian and East European sex site postings  :o so we have totally closed access down to new registers until they let us know by PM or e-mail that they are human and whilst sex mad or not, don't want to post about it all the time  lol

You may want to add words to that effect for folks registering, so that they (like me) don't just register and wait for approval that is not coming...

Thanks for the approval, and I must say:

That was a FANTASTIC looking game!   The terrain, figures, and basing are top notch!

Dranask,

Thank you for the activation, much appreciated.
The game layout was superb.
I'll post up some pics on your site of my own zulu's and brits when I've got a few more done.

Cheers

Matt
