I've just had some of the North Star 1672 cavalrymen painted by Mr Cubbins, they are really nice, thought I'd share them with you.

Those are beautifully done. And very Copplestone in style. Well done Steve Saleh for carrying off the Maestro's look so well. Superb.

Superb sculpting, but that hand painted lacework really steals the show!

Steve has just about finished the French Dragoons, 3 packs. These follow the pattern of 'at ready, firing and mounted' that Copplestone set as we are finishing three packs he started.
We also have armoured cavalry finished, and Steve is working on Armoured cavalry command and armoured cavalry in helmets.
We are going to use the guns that Warfare Miniatures have had made for their Grand Alliance range, and we'll make 1672 crews for them.
There are also firelock musketeers coming, just a couple of packs, then we'll start on the generals and characters.

Are you planning command sets for the dragoons as well (both the French and the English/Dutch/Imperial varieties) ?
Would the firelock musketeers work as Gardes Françaises with the ammo pouch on a waistbelt instead of the usual apostles ?
