I just realized that this is what I am going to do with old Crusader miniatures where the arm or lg has snapped of.

The order didn´t fight much apparently..(which suits the poses of the figs) not at the start but as it went on it took on able bodied knights. At the beggining they were protected by the other orders..something to do with them being extremely religious.
