I haven't posted much in this forum till today, but I followed the threads regulary...
impressed by the high level of moddeling and painting I decided to show you my first
building of an 20mm Normandy-Workshop, wich can also be used for other periods...
I hope you like it.

It looks great! Have you designed it yourself?
-
Love that - top notch mate.
-
WOW
That is excellent work
Thank you for posting the pics

Very nice work and welcome to the LAF.

Thanks a lot... it is built by myself and after that I made a mould for it...
There will be more buildings and terrain soon, because I'm building a new Battleboard for 20mm and I'm not happy with the buildings you can buy around. So I decided to make my own range for me and some friends...

That's one sweet looking house there, amsvartnir. Love particularly the texture and colour of the walls, and the advertisement is a nice touch as well.

Outstanding work.
Love the building.
Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Beautiful!

I don't suppose you intend to go to 28mm as well ? Because that workshop looks sooooo darn gorgeous :)
-
There are plans for some 28mm terrain...off course some BlackPowder stuff. This can also used for WW2 Gaming, but the workshop again in 28mm is not in the pipeline yet, because: for me 20mm ist the "gods own scale" for WW2-gaming...;)
-
I'll see the 28mm stuff appear when it appears! ;-) . And allow me to disagree with the scale ;D
-
;) everyone should be happy with it's own scale... I also like gaming in 28mm. We have an monthly Black Powder Game here in Berlin. I really fell in love with all these Perry 28mm Napoleonic stuff.
So there will be a range for this era soon...Maybe additions for WW2, but not in the near future...
I wouldn't tell any dates for new sets, because I can't garantee it at all. It's all an one-man-show, so it's very difficult to plan everything in line of release-dates.
-
New for april - my first barn for ww2-gaming. scale 20mm...

20mm is the TRUE scale for WWII! all others were simply designed to sell rule books!
I would be interested in your 20mm stuff but did not find it on you site?
Nevermind further searching did the trick....

for all the others:

Very nice beginning indeed! Your buildings are nice and not expensive, all the best for your activity! ;)

Certain periods lend them self to different scales - I do not stick to any particular period nor scale so wargame everything from 1/300th to 28mm and even on occassion larger. Certainly WWII seems best in 20mm especially given the vast amount of kit available.
