Awesome. Just awesome.

Always enjoy these reports, great stuff.
-
The game looks like it was alot of fun.
I know I enjoyed reading it.
Very cool, thanks for the Batrep.

Great report! Your photos are looking better too. Love those gretchin as mutants! One of the things I love about sci-fi wargaming is finding new ways to use the minis in my collection.

To achieve and experience a game to this standard of quality is the whole reason I participate in this hobby. Thanks for sharing. Any chance of some individual close up pics of the main characters?

Great report. Shot in the burberry, what a way to go. :)
-
Sweet report and good looking stuff there!

Does Charon have the 50 yard stare or what!
Great stuff,
Brian

Thanks for the comments. I will try to post pictures of the characters when I find them on my photo bucket account (half the faction was painted a while back). Close ups of Vail's warriors and background fluff can be found here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/topic/3570731/1/?x=25#new (http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/topic/3570731/1/?x=25#new)
Close ups of the Mutie Men and background fluff can be found here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/topic/3834318/1/?x=25#new (http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/topic/3834318/1/?x=25#new)
The photo problems are down to wayyyy too many settings on my camera and adding extra lights to the game area.

BRilliant as ever Matt. I have to say - again - that that home made table cloth of yours is just working wonders for the Apocalypse!

I'm not really an expert on macro photography. I'm pretty lazy when I take photos during battle reports myself. I think your photos are looking a lot better over all and a little shake and blurr can add to the feel of the battle. I don't know what kind of camera you have but I'm guessing it's some kind of point and shoot. These camers often have a shutter delay which can cause blurr. The shutter doesn't actually fire when you press the button on a lot of point and shoot type digital cameras and cell phones. You need to make sure you keep holding the camera still for a second after you press the shutter.
A small tripod could help out a lot. Also you can check you camera manual to figure out how to control your focus.
Not trying to dog on you. I really enjoy your reports!

Thanks for the tips. I am still messing about with the settings of my camera (Fujifilm Finepix S7000). I use a tripod but I think I may be moving the camera when taking pictures. After the game I found I had autofocus switched off which didn't help. I didn't use the macro for a lot of the shots this time. Again better lighting seems to have made things better too. Its a learning curve. :D

Awesome mate :D
