In my experience Dixon take 28 days regardless of the size of the order (I've been ordering from them for over 20 years)

I've ordered from Ebob once and received an email soon after telling me there'd be a delay because things were out of stock. I got my order after two weeks.

Ebob is pretty fast usually, but it's soon christmas and that seems to make RM grind to a halt ..

I think you can hope to see the Ebob stuff before chrimbo but not the Dixon.

Just my guess from my experiences which are obviously shared by the other posters.

Have you contacted them to ask???????? I am sure both will be doing all they can to get all their orders out at this time of year.

i would but i presume theyd just send a non personal automated message about a dellay or a problem they are probably sending everyone at this time of year. i might contact ebob. but dixon says to alloy 2 weeks anyway. :?

I am always amazed at how quickly people expect things to be delivered - whenI first used to collect figures - Hinchliffe mostly - it was always suggested to allow 28 days. I think that a lot of companies ask you to allow this long before chasing this is probably because a lot of the wargame businesses are part time (not that I know about these two). I suppose that the internet has conditioned us to expect instant responses.

I think Dixon says on their site to allow 2 weeks but I don't know about E-bob my recollection is about 10 days.

I guess we've been spoiled by companies like Artizan, BAM and Hasslefree who seem to turn orders around in 1-3 days.

A few times I've called BAM with an order and been told "I'll put it in the post now" and it's turned up the next day.

I ordered some Aztecs from TAG a couple of years ago and they took over 7 weeks to arrive.

I think they've got better these days, but they were pretty rubbish at the beginning...

But as they are such nice guys, and are kindly building a vast and ambitious renaissance range by one of my favourite sculptors, I shouldn't criticise...  :lipps:
