There will be a new show in Gloucester on Sunday, 29th January.
Details to follow later this evening after club, but largely sci-fi and fantasy, although Cheltenham Wargames are putting on a desert FOW game.
The only other show in this county is the HOTT comp at Berkeley, so nice to see an embryonic venture.

Sadly, I'm on a marking course so won't get to Penarth again. Still it pays £150 for the day. :P
I'll take a look at who is there if you could kindly pick stuff up for me........ :D

Hi Joras,
Yeap - no worries. PM me with the details.

Well thanks, Harvey, but I just looked at the traders and realised there was nothing there that I wanted. :o
I will wait until Sunday and pick up some cheap spray and so on......... :D

...but I just looked at the traders and realised there was nothing there that I wanted. :o
Are you ill, John? :D
-
No, the only trader there that i might have bought from are Warlord and Dave Thomas. Now, Warlord I can buy from Maelstrom at discount and I have more Perry stuff than I can paint at the moment. :o
Doesn't mean that I'm not sick, though................ o_o
There is sttuff that I want, but nothing that I need......... :(
On the other hand, I can only recall one show where I didn't buy anything............... 8)

Evesham Wargames Club are putting on a participation game based on the death of the prince imperial during the Anglo Zulu war.
See you there

Any contact numbers for this. I am at Penarth now and would like to set up my stand here tomorrow as it's on my way home?

There were about a fifteen + different games being played throughout the venue. Very enjoyable and a pity I didn't get to photograph them all.

Looks like a good time!
There's some nice boards there.

For a first attempt at a games show in Gloucestershire it was first rate. Lets hope that there is one in 2013. Certainly plenty of gamers there. :D
-
I had fun, it was nice to have a show, albeit a small one, which focuses on games rather than just spending cash - there are enough of those.
We played four games of the Death of the Prince, he generally survived, but in several of the games the remainder of the Brits did not fair so well.

Gosh, Paul, another local................ :D
I spent no money, either. ramirez picked some stuff up for me from Penarth and I bought a signed copy of Alessio's Shuuro for a present.
