There's just no stopping you, is there? The Zulu War certainly seems to be experiencing something of a renaissance at the moment (not that it ever really went away - it's simply "even more here" than it was before).
Keep them coming, David. I'm following your efforts with a keen interest, and fighting a valiant rearguard action against the temptation to join in.

The Sgt pointing is my favourite, great stuff as usual. :)

Very nice and do keep posting your stuff for inspiration! I've got a small horde of Empress miniatures in inventory and another small horde in the post. 8)

Anybody who can paint the stripes that well on a whole unit deserves praise. Very nice.

Cracking progress Mr. B, you do realise with all these Brits you are painting you are going to have do more Zulu's at some point ;)

No! On both counts.
I will never buy and paint plastic figures, no permanence or weight to them.
No plans for more Zulus either, just recycle the 'Late Zulus'!

Good stuff!
I'm painting these in 6mm but may move up to this scale in future.
If ever you need uniform info on lesser irregular auxilliary units drop me a pm mate.
Cheers

Global Warming? No such creature! :D

Very nice painting, although I would personally have made them less "pristine"!
Globa warming? Weren't we told we would all be frazzled and drowned by now? Oh well, the money's rolling into Government coffers....

Thanks for that! As I said elsewhere, probably more than once, these are toys in a game and each one of us rightly chooses our own look! Good luck with yours!

Of course they are pristine, they are British soldiers of the Queen, man!
