Amazing, Frank! So well set up, beautiful painting! Superb!
The Gatling's jammed! Everybody panic!
Not again!
-
Yeah, Frank's Ansar hordes don't look so bleedin' nice when you're up to your neck in the blighters and the machine gun goes... click!
It was fun, though. We showed 'em that Anglo-German-Greeks know how to die well, that day, didn't we just? Dulce et decorum, etc... :)
-
Oh, we did indeed! :) Will we be showing it to them again this year? You coming?
It was such a blast playing on a table created by Frank. The miniatures look even better up close! And the table... Sigh... Don't get me started.
-
Inspiring. I think I'll dig out that box of Perry plastic ansar and have a go
-
Very nice 8)

Gob smackingly amazing. :o Note to self to get a better bleedin' camera so as to try and match Frank's standard of photography if nothing else.

Q. Are the flags all handpainted?
-
Beautiful. :-* :-* :-*
I believe you have all the talents required to make a comic book like story with all of these breathtaking, beautifully executed, images.
Stringing them together in story form would be marvelous indeed.
Little more to say but - inspiring...
-
You evil, evil man you... :'(
-
Breathtakingly beautiful!
:-* :o :-*
-
Q. Are the flags all handpainted?
Most of the flags are handpainted, but I have also used the ones which comes with the Perry plastic-set.
-
Are you kidding me!
I had not realized some of those flags were hand painted! :o
Now I'm even more impressed.
-
I had not realized some of those flags were hand painted! Shocked
Now I'm even more impressed.
Is there no end to this man's talents?? :'( lol
You evil, evil man you... Cry
I agree! How are we supposed to even begin to reach these amazing standards, the bar has been raised so high! To look one would think these figures are in a larger scale than 28mm. Some of these are Perry's latest Sudan offerings, I have just got around to priming the first of the same ones myself, and I can't for the life of me begin to contemplate painting their faces to this amazingly high standard to show such expression. I think I would go blind trying. Incredible work.
-
World class!
Are they all metal or is there some plastic wickedness among these hordes?
-
Looking at some of them the heads look like the ones in the plastics box
-
Fantastic!! :-* :-* :-* :-*
-
Thanks a lot!!! ...and yes, you are right. I also painted some of the plastic Ansari.
-
Spectacular. Well done, sir!
